Thread: 410 slugs

Any of you close to helensville want some slugs for ya 410 I have a pack of 5 Winchester here that im willing to give away
Its 2-1/2” 1/5oz hollow point slug good pig round I guess

Not willing to ship live ammunition so pick up only and I will need to check your firearms license also

Yes they’re quite useful. Use them myself. I’m too far away for pickup though. Potentially January. Good luck finding a home for them.

would be useful, whats the max choke you can feed them thru before "banana barrel" ?

Yeah I have a couple of mates down the line that use them for bail rounds
There only 9.50 to buy per box of 5
And I only have one box
So not worth police forms and shipping cost for live ammo

Came with a side by side 410 I brought a few years back but it had tight chokes so wasn’t keen to shoot them
Been in the draw ever since

Not sure about chokes presumably they are soft lead so they should just squeeze through but im not game to try lol
There there if someone local wants them

I have a mossberg 500 in .410 they are full choked from the factory and mossberg say shooting slugs through them is fine.

Slugs are designed to go though a full choke, its a safety thing but better accuracy is achieved for some reason in cylinder bores
