    500 3" Nitro Express Dies

I know I have asked on here for these before, but I now have another 500 3" BPE rifle incoming and this one will definitely get sorted and become a serious practical hunting rifle ASAP

So does anyone have or know of a set of 500 3" nitro express dies I could buy
Failing that anyone who would loan me some it would be much appreciated

I'm looking for brass again also because the 20 I have are cut down for my Hollis Martini 500 BPE 2 5/8"
I have 1 500 3" case and hope to be able to snag maybe 5 more with the rifle when I pick it up in another week or so

    Cheers

@chainsaw Actually in its prime time the 500 3" BPE was not a serious dangerous game caliber

This Black Powder Express would have fired a 340 to 380 grain paper patched bullet over around 130 grains of black powder at close to 2000 FPS
So the powder charge is 50% of the bullet weight
To put that into a modern context it would be more like a current large 300 magnum or 338 magnum

And yes some of these go to Africa and are used on big dangerous game but are seriously unsuitable
They were a serious stalking and ( in the day ) long range hunting rifle that was effective out to 200 yards
This incoming rifle would have originally been in India and they were popular for Tiger shooting and the other larger game

I already have the 500 2 5/8" Hollis Martini and it shoots 395 grain paper patched bullets fairly well despite the Henry rifling being fairly poor and there being a ring in the barrel 100mm from the muzzle
The new old 500 3" rifle has conventional rifling but a very good bore, so I intend using the same bullet and a much heavier load of Black Powder and expect to get good results relatively quickly without too much damage to my shoulder

@Lucky I had a fondle of the rifle in the weekend. A bit more to pay and then it will come home for good.
Then I will do a proper show and tell

Thanks to @george44 there are some more in coming and I got another 6 cases when I picked up the rifle this afternoon
So have 37 total 500 3" cases and that will last a life time in this rifle
A sub 9 pound 500 BPE will not be a high volume shooter

Know where there are 500 3" nitro express dies in stock now and it looks doubtful in NZ
