Question 50cal case x 1 for dummy round

Hey team looking for 1 x 50 cal case to make a dummy round for my display shelf above my loading bench.
Let me know if anyone has anything laying around ? Bonus points if you can seat my projectile in it otherwise I'll find a way
    Cheers

Might need to pour some lead in the empty case first, stop it being so top heavy. Yes, plug the primer hole first....

was going to use lead shot and glue a little less burny to deal with than molten lead

Good plan! It's only around 330C. Wouldn't dip your fingers in it but not all that hot. Tin can over your cooker does the trick.

Or maybe sand would work or plaster of Paris.

a tiny 3/4" long nail in the mounting board poked up through the primer pocket would work too....lift it up n off,and stick it back in place afterwards,no chance of it falling over.
