    6.5x55 Carl Gustav Swedish Mauser

    A Tidy, well kept Carl Gustav m96 swedish mauser. Housed in a dehumidified gun safe for the time I have owned it (3 years). In a montecarlo synthetic hollow stock, relatively light rifle. Shoots sub moa at 100m, selling due to lack of use and too dear to be used as a goat management rifle.
    600$ono for the rifle, rings and a 4-12x40 Simmons scope. Will look into swapping for RCBS reloading sets or Rangefinder.

    Certainly would be. First rifle I owned and shot 11 goats with it on the first day out hunting. Great wee rifle

    @Make_lead_fly
    Had a milsurp M96 in my stupid youth (40+ years ago), and sold it to go overseas.
    Now I want another - this would've been a great acquisition.
    However prepaid holidays have sucked all my $$$'s out of the bank

    @HOO this one would be a great wee starter as per your thread. I started with something similar, and it is something the missus could use too......

    Bought an M38 milsurp years back from Moose in PN,..slowly evolved; timney-trigger, cock-on-opening,custom stock etc, still my favorite rifle, lighter than my Sako 6.5se, and shoots every bit as good.

    Someone should be buying this. A good CG 6.5x55 is a great investment for anyone buying a centre fire on a budget.

    Iíve got one Iíd never sell as it shoots about as well as my modern rifles after adding a Timney trigger.

    $600 is a very fair price and $1150 with Leupold scope is less than youíll spend on bare new rifle.
