    7x57 BSA viscount custom.

    Hi all,

Recently picked this up on a whim not going to use it so must make some room - very nice BSA Viscount 7x57 controlled feed action - trigger is very nice indeed feeds and functions perfectly and safety is just beautiful to operate. Stainless 23" Douglas barrel outside usual marks but inside looking very nice indeed no wear and tear that I can see - shoots very well indeed. Stock is Browns precision with a decelerator pad - very stiff stock. Its a lil bit rough I have given it a lick of paint but it needs pin holes and rough areas filled etc. I was going to but its perfectly functional and not really that bad at all. Scope is the same - nice Kahles 6x42 Helia S. Optically perfect but No 4 reticle has a bit of 'fuzz' on it. Totally usable but probably could do with a factory clean. I was going to re chamber to .284 Winchester as mag box length is a medium length at 3.1" perfect. Weight without scope and rings 6 pounds 12 ounces. Any questions please PM I'm after $800.00.

Make a nice 284. Nick Harvey made one years ago from the very same action.

I unfortunately don't have a 7mm brush so cant measure the twist with a cleaning rod atm - but I shot 160gr speer through it no problems at all so seems to handle the heaver bullets.

From memory, they are short throated and twist might be 1 in 10" , but somebody must double check.
