Pecar Berlin 4x81 Light, manufactured 1961. Classic (tick), and quality (tick), but a bit rough on the outside. Glass still mint. 26mm steel tube. Reticle physically moves in filed of view when adjusted.

Found a little 4x trashco on the odds and sods box
That fit quite nicely for the time being so I donít rush and buy the worng scope in my haste
That s&b looks nice though I really want/need something a little stronger than 4x
I have watch listed a vari x 2-7x33 is 200 ish a fair price for one of them?

Yep, 200 is good buying for the right scope in good nick. Also look at the leupold 3-9 X 40 EFR which is designed for the rim fire and has AO parallax adjustment

Put a bid on that leupold but wasn’t there for the finish and was out bid by $5
Bugger so still looking @johnd is going to grab me some photos of his weaver k6
If i go fixed power I think 6 is good 4 is too small for my liking
