Just whats fitted at moment. The end cap appears to be one piece. Will find a spanner shortly and see if I can check out what's under there. And I will measure it up when I find my calipers....

Ok.... So the end cap is alloy with a hole around 18 mm diameter...

Taking off the cap leaves an opening/internal dimension of 23 mm and around 90 mm deep to the stainless where the barrel butts up to after threaded in ( the shiny bit in pic )

The internal space there doesn't appear to taper so I guess a bush would have to run the full length in order to be trapped by cap but only the last part would need to be barrel dimensions. I personally would do the rest oversized so only contacts barrel at rear.

We originally ordered it to fit the missus howa mini but she got impatient waiting for it over xmas so we ended up getting a dpt from off the shelf at a local shop. Was going to fit this to the lads 30/30 but he refuses to have the barrel molested and wants to keep it factory ( bless him) so just have no use for it anymore.
I must say it's very good quality construction and bugger all heavier than the dpt .

Just had a read through the sheet that comes with it and no mention of a bush being required for mounting but does show specs for thread on barrel....

So with 15 mm of thread into the stainless internals in the suppressor I would say its self supporting and will not require a bush.

Checked out aimpoint site and several sellers and bushing not mentioned once so must not be required. And some are advertising these at $400 plus.....

We may yet try it on the howa 7.62 x 39 and if effective may keep it instead of selling , be interesting to compare with the same size dpt as to effectiveness.
