Getting pretty close to xmas might be a bad idea to courrier right now anyway as it may end up sitting in a wherehouse over Xmas
I don’t think you need police paperwork if you send through hunting and fishing as they do the license check on your behalf when the person picks it up at there local shop

I done the hunting and fishing transfer a couple of times but my local store isn’t all that keen as if it goes missing its on there back
But its worked fine the couple of times I’ve done it never needed police papers, though it was a few years ago now

@muzza the guy dropped the paperwork to the police and they had it for close to a week and then said they would not be doing it until the new year. Would have been ideal if they had told him at the time is all. @Gerbs if he has not gone cold will let you know. Where are you based in AKL and what day you heading South?

Based in Greenhithe/Albany but travel across Auckland to different areas regularly for work.
Heading to Palmy Sat 23rd. Will be heading to Wanganui, likely on the 27th for the day.
