    Aluminium Gun Case on GrabOne

Good deal on a hard gun case for anyone in the market:
Portable Aluminium Gun Case - GrabOne Store

looks like it would give better protection than the similarly priced plastic ones for transporting/flying with.
Hunting is not a hobby.....its an addiction

Not sure if all carriers would be happy to accecpt it? Those locks look pretty easy to get into, quick flick of a screwdriver. No padlock loops either.

It looks exactly the same as one i have. Mine is shit, cheap and flimsy. There are 2 different versions of those locks. Good quality and cheap and nasty. My version of that case has cheap and nasty ones, you dont even need a screw driver to pop them.
Its possible that this one "could" be of a good quality but if its like my one then i would only shell out about 30 bucks for it.

Uncle Bills in Hastings are selling them for $89.

And yes the locks are more for Good Looks than for any serious purpose.

    Cheers

Sounds like you have had a bit of experience Nibblet. Have you had the cuffs on you in the past?

Again, ya gets wot ya pays for. If you're serious about looking after your piece in transit, especially in the air, get a Pelikan or an SKB case. Having spent anywhere between 3 and 6 k on a nice rifle and good glass, why compromise on packaging?
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.
