    Anschütz 1712 HB

    Nice rifle Mayfly, I have the same model myself. I don't think the barrel classifies as heavy even though it's heavier than your average .22LR for sure. Anschutz do make the 1710 HB sporting model which has a heavier barrel.

    I see the 1712 has recently increased in price to about $2,800 and the mags are over $100 each so this is a great buying at 2K. They're incredibly accurate.
