Any Knife sharpening service in Invercargill?

    Hi guys..

Looking for recommendations for knife sharpening/ reshaping service... I broke somewhere between 5-10mm off the tip of my favorite cooks knife (Japanese Shun) and it's going to need something other than my hand tools to get the job done in reasonable time....

    Cheers
    Tim

Just make sure whoever is not using a high speed grinder that will heat the blade!

Let us know how you get on!

Yes, some will use a high speed grinder and reassure you that they keep quenching the blade in water. Which will just render it very brittle, and your tip will break again!

Why don't you contact this guy below and arrange something by post. Sounds like he will return something sharp to you.
