Anyone know where to get dry firewood in mid Canterbury?

    Hey guys

Does anyone know where to find some dry firewood in the mid Canterbury / Canterbury area for a fair price? Names and numbers would be much appreciated as I'm completely out now and with the kids coming back need some at a decent price asap. Please don't say city firewood in chch cause if ya paying their prices then there's something wrong
    Cheers

The the trick here is to build up two years worth of wood.
One bone dry in the shed one stacked outside for next year.
Costs ya about 80 bucks a year all up and a few weekends.

Yeah gotta find some where to cut the wood first lol. Had done that but moved into a Fucken expensive house so the kids would have a big yard to run around in but the house is as cold as a bitch  I have run through over 3 cord in 3months and the whole house has never been warm. Thinking it's time to move again!

Try RK Firewood, in Methven, good wood, good service, loves cash. Have no idea of number, try Ashburton Guardian or phone book, or maybe Methvens local rag, Snowfed [online]

Get decent wood not shit pine, Douglas minimum. Native hardwoods are awesome.
Most common good woods for output are probably manuka and bluegum.
