    AR 15 7 shot magazines

I would like to buy a couple of reliable 7 shot AR15 steel magazines.

There must be heaps of unused 7 shot mags out there with you high capacity mag guys.

Any chance you could post a pic of what they look like in your rifle please?

Are they easy to grab out of the mag well?

    They look good.
I looked at the Israeli web site also but the 7 round ones aren't shown there at the moment.

I just thought there would be a few unused ones around from guys swapping out from A cat to bigger capacity mags.
Only need the 7s as handy for general hunting.
Nice to have a spare mag loaded with Winchester 223 64 grain power point ammo ... just in case I run into a deer or pig when out hare and rabbit shooting

Mate I have a couple of them somewhere. I'll have a look for them this weekend.

Did you have a rookie look, or a real AR shooter look?

When the last lot of 5-7 round mags in brought in, Customs just emailed me and I told them in reply they are A-Cat, copying in the local AO. They checked one to confirm and it was all good. I normally let them know they are coming prior. They have my contact email already.

    I had a decent look.

Those are plastic and being a 10 round blocked off they will stick out more and be a little more difficult when carrying at night.

Just in from a quick hunt tonight as daughter wanted some hares to boil up for a new gun dog pup.

@akaroa1 - nice looking piece of kit David !

Is that a new Pulsar Trail thermal hand held ?

These magazines might be the way to go if getting into pest control

In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when conserved by the sportsman. The excellent people who protest against all hunting, and consider sportsmen as enemies of wildlife are wholly ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping wild creatures from total extinction.

If you run into a deer while out hare and rabbit shooting just aim at its head and keep pulling the trigger until it falls over !

That Barnaul steel case SP ammo will do the trick - about 65c per round in bulk.
