AR500 Gong Run - Buy for cost price

Chaps, I'm going to do an order of 300 x 300 AR500 10mm Gongs. Been quoted a price of $40.93 +GST per plate with no holes. (Easy to get someone to blow a couple holes with gas or plasma)

If you're based around Welly or Manawatu/Rangitikei the pick ups will be from Thorndon in Wellington or Marton in the Rangitikei.

Offering these at cost so not messing round with postage as it takes up too much time.

Can see what interest there is and go from there.

If anyone in the above mentioned regions is willing to purchase and post to Hamilton, I could be keen on a couple.

Square mate. If you know someone with gas or plasma, would be easy as to cut into circle. Engineer probably do a few for a couple doz beers

Postage is the killer mate, unfortunately.

@Hunter_killer I told you $65 each as they were rigged, but you could jump in here and rig yourself for bugger all. Couple strips of tyre does the trick.

Sorry for my dumbness, but what calibres will AR500 at 10mm thick withstand?

I’ve shot them at 60m with 300wsm doing 2770fps and there’s not a scratch. Speed is what kills them, if you’ve got a .223 fmj doing 3200 + you might put some small craters at 100m. Not much harder than AR500 though. 200m plus nothing hurts them

I’ll order the week before I next head up to Marton then send you some bank details.
$141 including gst for three plates. All sweet with that?
