    Assorted Primers

    Good evening.
Anyone know if these are worth anything.
Unsure of the age of the Winchester.
Federal and CCI are approx 6-7 years old. Stored inside the house in a plastic container. Most packs unopened.

    Winchester Large Rifle: 794
    CCI Large Rifle Magnum:600
Federal Large Rifle Magnum Match: 238
    Federal Large Rifle Magnum: 170

Based in West Auckland and drive around a fair bit so could arrange something.

    Cheers

Don't inflict Winchester primers on anybody unsuspecting. Downright nasty.

Re the winnies - There was a bad batch that came through a few years back & had a bad habit of destroying bolt faces. Bit of a lucky dip really so buyer beware.
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

Definitely was. I was a victim. No-one wanted to know about it so I've never bought anything Winchester since.
Having said that, all I use now are CCI (Speer) magnum primers and never had a problem. Always consistent

    Gone.
Thanks for the warning regarding the Winchesters. Didnít seem to be a problem but like above. Buyers risk if they want to use them. I suppose that goes for anything really.

    Cheers.

Just to add to this Gun City are selling / were selling this just last year.... I had some bolt face erosion and split primer cups, looked on the packet.... 2010 manufacture Son of a bitch .... right about the time the problems showed up. If you are buying W primers check the date of manufacture.

On the up side I have for sale 990 W primers for anyone unsuspecting.

I have more modern W primers and they are ok
@Marty Henry you can have the 990 lot
