    I am interested to know why you want this particular bipod? I know they are all the rage but. The only way to make them lower is to flick the legs forward then when you use it you cannot load the bipod. Just a comment not a judgment on you.

    Not everyone loads their bipod. It can have negative effects with some rifles and shooters

    @MSL I would be interested to know what type of shooting would be negatively affected by loading your bipod I have had great success with this method of rifle control. The larger Magnums tend to behave better with more bipod loading. It can be hard to do well when shooting in loose soil conditions or wet grass. The Harris is really good to load due to the amount of flex in the legs. Thanks

    Only said it because that is the exact experience I have had recently with my .338 lapua improved

    When the rifle had a lighter barrel in a smaller caliber, it needed forward pressure/loading to be accurate.

    It's a bit of a watery review but it looks like there are some alternatives to the Atlas that could be considered if funds are not an issue

    Ive got this one sitting in the bottom of my safe doing nothing:

    Atlas V8 Bipod | SWFA

    Shot 40 rounds for load development then rifle got nicked. $350 shipped.
