Baikal Single shot IZH-18MH .308 Wanted

Baikal Single shot break open IZH-18MH .308 Wanted, for a project so I dont mind if the stock is a bit scruffy as I intend to lighten and refinish the stock, however it must shoot accurately.
    Please PM me with details.
    Cheers Peter

Of the 5 or 6 that i have shot they all strung their shots vertically with barrel heat after the very first cold bore shot.

Not too much of a need to lighten the stock, it weighs bugger all from factory, but there is a lot of weight in the receiver.

Best of luck finding an accurate one.

Bought one new synthetic .308, you are right its light enough at 2850 grams on our kitchen scales, should be frisky under recoil.
I had a dive into the brass barrel at the range and got about 60 once fired Winchester cases, some were nickle plated woo hoo!
I bought some Speer 150gr BTSP from Sportways ($50) as they are meant to be expand at lowest velocities , Lee RGB dies from reloader ($39) I will start light with 2006 and 2208 and see how it shoots before I take the hacksaw to the barrel for the bike rifle project, less embarrassing if i have to take it back to the shop for warranty.

Any advise on loads using the above would be welcome other wise I'll just work through the ADI comic.
