BARK RIVER & CROSS KNIVES FS

    1) Bark River. Fox River model. Elmax Steel. Used but in great condition. Rosewood Burl handle. Dome sheath. $250 inc freight.

    2) Cross Knives, skinner. A2 steel.Cross makes fantastic knives and works closely with Bark River. Solid & tight sheath. In new condition. Desert iron wood handle and fancy hollow pins. This is a one off model. $245 inc freight.

Both knives are convex grind and are razor sharp.

The Cross knife is still available. Its a wonderfully classy hunting knife.

This pic is the one time I've used it - a really nice clean cutter ...far too many good knives...

Beautiful knives, they would be wasted on me as i'm to rough. The fox has a hole in the handle for a string so whats the loop on the end of the handle for?

I don't really know. The Americans hang all sorts of lanyards and strings off their knives. Some people have the back lanyard loop ground off. Bark River do it for nothing. If you ask the dealer it goes via the factory as it gets freighted out.

I'm after a classic skinning knife if you've got one?
