    Barnes Projectiles VERY CHEAP

First off these are in .257. If you don't have a 25-cal they are unlikely to be for you - sorry if the heading briefly generated unwarranted excitement.

However for those here who do shoot 25-cal: I have number of boxes of original Barnes-X that I would like to clear out of my reloading cupboard.
There are 300x 85gr flat base, and 400x 90gr boattail. I'd ideally like these to go out in one lot rather than sending them out in dribs&drabs.
The good news is they can go for $0.60 per bullet. That must be one third the price of current TTSX, and a basement price for a bullet of any type in the current environment , let alone a premium one.

These don't have a polymer tip like the TTSX. The G1 ballistic coefficients according to my records are 0.309 and 0.343 respectively, so these aren't going to reach out a long long way. However being very light-for-calibre, a 25-06 will send them off at 3500-3600 ft/sec so they will shoot REALLY flat for the first 300 metres.
I purchased them for their 22-250-like trajectory but with deer-weight monolithic construction as opposed to varmint bullets. With this number, once you have a load for them you'll be set for a long time. I'm now shooting less than a dozen shots a year from my .257; there is no point in holding onto this many.
