I need some bases for the 300wsm. Preferably cheap or even better free. Thanks

Rails are good tobes. Solid and can mount scope exactly where you want it.

Sounds good. Will the screws I have in the 25mm mounts fit?

Should be able to order some. But you might want to get a smith to mount it wont cost much. They can set it up on a clock and make sure its true and not stressed they will probably do a skim bedding or the likes and it will be setup right from the get go. Any machinist should be able to help you out with this if you cant get to a smithy.

I was hoping for a rail tbh thought it may be stronger then 2 separate bases.

Wairoa. I get home on Saturday so I'll wipe off the scope that's on there and mounts. Hopefully they aren't glued on. If they are its heat you apply to it to loosen it off isn't it?
