    Basic scope for 243

Just picked up a suppressed 243 which I'll use as a truck rifle for few bunnies and occasional reds and piggies that say hello.

Don't want an expensive scope. Just an entry level Nikko or Bushnell etc 4-12 or 4-16x will be fine for the 0-200m shooting. Not a dial scope. Just needs to be clear optics, sound, and hold zero. Non AO fine.

    Thanks

I have a few new scopes here new that may do the trick, mostly around the $200 mark. (From Talon) Though the Nikko do a mountmaster 3-9x40 that would be around the $140 mark. I might have a Panamax Nikko 3-9x40 that was mounted on an EM332 that I am about to sell. Has not been used or sighted in yet, but has been fitted to a rifle. Could do the scope for $150.

Thanks guys - I have a 3-9x40 Ranger sitting here so really after a 4-12x. Gadget has loaned me a little Pentax 4-12 until a buy turns up. Pentax not bad at all...rather nice for an entry level scope.

Tim - say hello to gunsmith Gary for me out there at Amberley - must catch up with him again...
