Bell and Carlson Remington Model 7 Sporter Style

I have the above stock (see below link) in Olive Green With Black Web, in brand new condition, I had a rifle mounted in it for about 5 minutes before someone offered me twice what I paid for the rifle so sold it. Any Idea what they are worth, $550?

I dont need a b&c mate, was just thinking if you got a good deal on the rifle you may be a gc and do someone a good price on the stock

I like the look of the stock and they are supposed to work well according to a few US reviews.

Looks like the one I have on one of my rifles. They are good but like most things in NZ horrendously overpriced

Nice stocks, would be a good upgrade from factory plastic for some one, but a little on the heavier side - especially if u r comparing to cf.
    Your question “what’s it worth”?
One answer is what a willing buyer is willing to pay. GWH has defined that one above.
Another answer might be comparison to retail - GC were selling B&C for $499 pre Xmas, 10% off in Boxing Day sales say $450.
US pricing retail is around NZ$380
Looking at 2nd B&Cs that come up for sale they seem to go for $300 - 400 range depending on condition, model and how many punters r keen at the time they r listed.
    Good luck with the sale.

All valid points but I would point out that Model 7s are notoriously difficult to find aftermarket stocks, off the shelf, ready to go in NZ. I'm almost tempted to buy it on the off chance that I ever end up with a model 7 again at some point.

That exact stock is $399 Cad, as listed on prophet river web Canada, seen as that were you got the image.
Ive bought a few from them for M70 and M700,
I think $500-600 if un-beded (new) would be reasonable, place to start.

Bought a second hand one a few months ago for a Tikka off of TM and paid right along the lines of what chainsaw has suggested. It was opened up a bit for AICS mags but a quick rebed on the trigger guard and one would never know. Just bought it as an interim solution while waiting on Stug.

This could be an option for whoever buys my model seven when it goes on the market ....mind you the wooden stock is pretty light and tasty

Happy new year all. Ryan has made a good point, given what I should expect for it second hand I think I'll just sit on it on the off chance I get another mod 7 down the track
