I am in the long and drawn out process of designing one out of an old bolt action .22 and so that it cannot accept nor fire live ammo, I am also changing the stock so it won't resemble a rifle anymore. In theory it should work, the only downside is once a firearm always a firearm so requires a licence and secure storage. I am uncertain as to where it's use would be allowed given it originated as a firearm, as far as I know you can use a bird launcher in public?

Personally I think you should use a hairspray powered potato cannon design
Might make the ducks taste a bit funny tho

This isn't for sale as I still use it, it's got a thump. So I use the truck deck as back stop or ground for recoil.
The shooting rest is supposed to be placed on the thigh but it was to hard on me. I cut the pipe and sleeved it, so it now fits the bag.
Good in Long cover to make him work for finding and it doesn't take much of the year and dog will go from dummy to what ever you want.
I don't trial but he's handy. Just time effort and repetition and on a bad day I always finish on a good good simple reward.
