Really! Cheers. I thought just higher mounts would be fine . Have you a photo?

PS what do you reckon to the scope. I've used the 6-24x56 but not the 4-16 I want something smaller for toting round the bush.

I've now got the scope in NF Ultra Lite rings on a fixed 20 moa base off eBay, it sits a bit lower in that set up than in the Blaser
jobbies.
The scope is probably overkill for bunnies, plover and "purple pheasants", but it's too good to part with.
Blaser Zeiss offset rings and spacers below ;

Nice idea. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking at Blaser shims for my scope mount.

Ah ha mustn't forget the screws. I reckon the standard width spacing will be fine. Theres a picture in the brochure on a saddle with high mounts but no offset.

the price of putting a scope on that barrel is soaring!![]()
So here is a factory mount ( yes it's been milled out ) with 1" rings to demonstrate the spacing vs the turret bulge lined up with the barrel attach cut outs. Note how the turret bulge extends to the rear of the bulge along the tube, really screwing with fore and aft movement for eye relief
and the same mount lined up with the barrel attach cutouts with the Blaser Zeiss offset rings fitted.
.
If you're ordering from Stager and want to use it before the 2020 roar, I'd order the spacers and the rings.....

I've sourced some Blaser risers from Stager at just $45. If all goes well it will be a goer . If not the extension rings are only $75. I thought this would be a 4-500 job......

Sorry just saw your post. I have a set of risers you could of had. I went to the local bolt and fasteners store(Blacks) and got some longer screws no problem. I only used one offset ring to get the scope far enough back for me. Probably could of swapped you that one for a standard one? Anyway if you run into problems or need the bits pm me. By the way I shorten my stock a bit( success stock) as like most it was a bit long. Very easy to do for a plastic stock and helps with the eye relief. I went the way of others with a rail as it does lower the scope a lot but unfortunately doesn't save wait
