    Blaser Left Handed

    Hey Everyone,

I'm keen to scratch a 'blaser itch' that I seem to have developed.

Does anyone have a left handed blaser that they are interested in selling?

Preferably an R8, but would consider a R93.

    Thanks,

    Rich

I suggest handling both, which you may have already?

I have owned both (r8 first) and it did not suit my needs. It's a very big chunky system compared to the r93. It obviously weighs more but it was more then size that made me sell it

I haven't handled either, I just figured that since the R8 is more modern and easier to get parts/barrels for it would be the best option. Open to both, just can't afford new.

If there is anyone in my area who would be happy to let me handle one it would be much appreciated

The only thing different on the standard Blaser between a RH and a LH is the bolt handle and bolt head. The stocks are ambidextrous, although the professional success may not be.
The R8 is definitely chunkier and heavier than the R93, but the R8 will be supported for longer.

Good luck, took me a long time to come across my R8, there were a few reasonably priced R93s on TM a while back.

I have a left hand LX grade R93 wood stock that I might sell because i haven't put a barrel in it in 10 years.
You would still need a barrel and left hand bolt head and carrier.
Just thought i would mention it if you can find the other parts.

I also have a brand new R8 bolt carrier I brough with the idea of being able to use my right handed mates R8s if i visited then in Germany and Austria.
Haven't got there yet so it could be for sale also

@Rich007 check with Joel at Stager Sport what a left hand bolt and bolt head are worth, they won’t be cheap. Handling a RH one will give you an idea of what they are like.
