Browing X-Bolt SS .308 Win with McMillan Game Scout Stock - $1,600 to NZHS Forum

I have just listed this rifle on TardMe at $1,800

Will offer at $1,600 to NZHS Forum - shipping via NZ Firearms Dealer Network at buyers cost.

    Here are the details

Browning X-Bolt SS .308 WIN with McMillan Game Scout Stock

Very good condition - has been used for hunting with a neoprene sleeve on the buttstock.

Owned rifle since new and probably fired ~200 rounds.

Good consistent shooter and not fussy with various factory ammo that I have used.

Barrel is factory length 22" and was threaded M14x1 by a local gunsmith.

I will consider selling the McMillan stock separately $650 plus your factory stock.

Various scope mount options avaialble to buyer:

    - Talley 1" one piece medium
    - Talley 1" one peice high
    - Warne MountainTech Zero MOA rail
    - Warne Maxima Steel bases

    NO SCOPE
    NO BIPOD
    NO SUPPRESSOR

In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when conserved by the sportsman. The excellent people who protest against all hunting, and consider sportsmen as enemies of wildlife are wholly ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping wild creatures from total extinction.

Yes indeed, the McMillan stock is an option for $650 plus a replacement factory stock.

    Weights as follows:

Browning factory synthetic stock = 850 grams

McMillan Game Scout stock = 970 grams

$1500 bare rifle with McMillan Game Scout stock

Will offer McMillan stock alone for $600 + your X-Bolt SA stock

I've got a couple of sets of Talley one piece rings (1" low and high) and a spare SA magazine for buyer at reasonable $$

I'd say shape & rigidity, personally I find the standard X-bolt has a horrible shaped stock ( just doesn't fit me ) but then everyone's different.

    Nice set up btw
