The never are cheap and getting hard to find new. Only made in infrequent batches at Miroku plant.
There was a few .223 breakdown laminated stock/stainless that made their way unexpectedly into NZ about Sep/Nov. They retailed about $2200. Check with Wayne at The Gun Shop in Upper Hutt. He had one or more but probably gone by now... or the used one on TM is listed by him as well. Just call him direct. You will find his number with a Google.

The factory was actually being refurbished, but this was supposed to be finished at the end of 2019 so they will hopefully start filling backordered rifles early 2020. Those ones that came in late last year came from the aussie importers and they stung us about 15% more than regular nz wholesale prices. Get your local gun shop to backorder one so you don't wait too long, the 223 ones are in high demand, and far nicer than the Henry Long Ranger 223.
