    BSA Light weight Hunter

I know this is a long shot but ya never know.

I am after a complete rifle or an action for a build for my boys 16th birthday.

I have decided on the above or a model 7 for the build.
    Would prefer the BSA.

    Cheers

Have a BSA viscount action with very good .308 barrel if interested. 500 dollars includes post.

Year but I wanted something a bit special! So brought this one from Holts auctioneers.
    It's has the set triggers
    So got a true-flite barrel chamber 7x57 from .243
The new walnut stock is from nz. I had .270 back in the late 80 and sold it as I could not get on with the roll over stock.
So the new stock has more classic lines to it.
    Good luck with the build

Make sure you post a pic of the competed version.

If I track an action down I will get Dave Mclunie to do the stock for it. Hunted with an Aussie mate of his this year that had a 7x57 with one of Dave's stocks on it.
It was a stunning lightweight rifle.
Bastard would not sell it to me tho

I might use it to carry some whitebaiting gear after I get home

Weather was to shit for an over nighter when I was last home.

I have a few trips planned over the spring.

Might get away for a quick meat hunt before the whitebait season starts on the coast. Weather not looking too bad for when I get home.

Once I pull the pin for good here it will get heaps of use.

A BSA in A McClunie stock like this @R93 ? This was a medium Viscount (Hunter) 7x75. Sadly I sold it in a weak moment.

Presume you seen this already - more than likely not the calibre you want or the pingers you want to outlay
