Not a rifle, Police wont sign a PTP for you according to the PM. They have other priorities she said. Which is true I guess.

I heard pretty clearly that the police would not be approving and permit to procure applications, so essentially no.

I'd say technically yes, but good luck trying to get the AO to sign anything off in the regards to rifles. I still have not seen any law change stopping the sale of things like mags or stocks etc. Its all gone in a week or two anyway.

I would like to think that anything of historical significance could be got out instead of going to the furnace. NZ has some bloody awesome things kicking around.

I'd anyone is keen to run the gauntlet and try and see if they will alter the terms of the law.

My m1 garand is up for sale.
$3400 with bayonet and sling plus about 20 clips.

Payment and ptp to be done asap.

I think your right. But Im not bothered.
    But open to reasonable offers.

But the window is closing fast.

A lot will depend on the way the law is written. Hopefully there is an avenue of making them straight pull bolt actions by removing the gas parts.

Dont gas it yet. wait and see what we are actually dealing with first. Especially if it has any sort of provenance or history with it.
