Had looked at that, I think there is or was a canon 60mm on TM but you an buy cheaper than what they are after, used one over the weekend and I really liked it, I can see another Lee Enfield comming up for sale lol

I have the non-L version of the 100mm which is reasonably priced for what it is. If 100mm is okay (160mm equiv. on EF-S body is getting rather long!) look out for one of those. Tack-sharp and accurate AF.

Ive dusted off my old 7D, the original, an oldie but still probably better than ill be for a while yet…..a long while, ill see if i can grab someone’s 100mm and try it out, otherwise i just may bite the bullet and see whats on offer online

I have one.
Had little use, pretty much as new. Lives in a case with dessicant.
Haven't used it for some time as gone onto landscapes now.
I had the 100mm but the close focus was a minimum of 13" and the wee 60mm lets you get right up into a flower, etc.
Also have a set of the 3 macro tubes...makes for a wicked combination.

Managed to acquire something JUST PERFECT and @Grey Kiwi thank you for such a perfect trade, i think i have found the perfect distraction from renovating the caravan
