How much did that cost?

I got it second hand off here. Think it was around $650?

Senator pricing is reasonable and they are very good to deal with.
Currently I'm corresponding with them about a carbon stock for a Mauser M18 and the guy is being very helpful.

Hi tec are V blocks, they don’t need bedding.

Well I can't think of many reasons why one carbon stock would physically make a rifle shoot better than another carbon stock other than bedding or maybe a pinched action or barrel contact or some other pressure point etc. No hate and no loyalty to any brand.
The stock fitting the shooter better would make a difference but that's ergonomics not anything about the rifle shooting better as someone else could shoot it as good or maybe better in the original carbon stock....

Rigidity would play a factor I reckon . Some mainstream stock producers only warranty up to 300WM which I’m pickings to do with the construction and over all strength if his broke maybe it did have some flex somewhere causing the change in accuracy

Most v blocks eg hs, hi tec benefit from light skim bedding. My exp with both of these and R700s.
