Check the weight of a "Just One". This certainly isn't the daybag you think this it is. A 6kg empty pack is heavy.

Found the Gunrunner too small to be practical as you will struggle to get a back leg of a red deer in it. An X1 size is good and I have an older model of this, but the Team elk would my next day pack if I brought another Eberlestock pack.

As for a large pack, I have Kuiu 5200 (about 85lt) that weight less than my day pack and tend to use it as a day pack as it compresses down really well on to the carbon fiber frame

I have this one if you are interested. It comes with a reversable camo\blaze pack cover and a clip on pouch thing. Asking $200. I couldn't work out which model it is from looking at the web site but happy to supply more photos if needed. Am in Chch.
