    Decent scope for .22

After a vari power scope for .22 any magnifications between 2-14 Objective diametre not that important but bigger is better! After quality on par with, Leupold vx1, Burris fullfield, Bushnell elite ect. As long as lenses are sweet a few scratches on the body wont worry me. Pm's welcomed.

    Cheers
    Tim.

What is the rimfire reticle set up for, high velocity or subs?

You go on the Nikon website and put in the ammo you're using and range it's sighted in at and it tells you what the other dots work out to be. Works really well.

I have a pretty tidy leupold VX1 4-12 x 40 that I can sell, I'm looking to swap it out anyway so it will be surplus.
Pm for details and I can send pictures if your keen.
    Regards
    Andrew

have a look at hawke air rifle scopes we put 6-24x42AO's on all the club guns a few years back very impressive optics and the new models are even better
the issue is is a lot of scops only focus at 50 yards or greater an air rifle scope will focus to 10m or greater which makes them better for 22's as well as airguns if you buy a leupold for a 22 id suggest buying an EFR (extended focal range) model as you really need the scope to focus to 25m or less if need be
something like this would do you awesome
    Hawke Varmint 6-24 x 44 SF - Air Guns that's the 6-24 model but they make a 4-12 aswell or 4-16
see Hawke UK | Vantage Side Focus

I have one of those bushnell AR22 scopes on my 10/22, 2-7 with bdc specifically designed for 22 and turget turrets, dialling up the 22 on the 300 yard gong is good fun!

Probably good magnification for targets. But the .22 is more of a bunny buster for me.. Probably overkill/tricky with 20m shots ect.?

id honestly go for a 4-12 in that case 4 is low enough for those quick close shots on bunnies but 12 is plenty for longer range hunting or target shooting for a 22 also remember about what I said about the focus you need something that will focus closer than 50m

    That site is amazing!

I've been looking for something like that for a while. Looks like you can order custom dials from nikon too. I just made a ballistic chart for subs on a 3x9 Mil-dot scope and it's given the holdover ranges for every Mil-dot on every magnification! Gold! That's getting stuck to my rifle. Might even look at buying one of those wee Nikons.
