    deer hunt

    Hi all,

Sorry to post this on here but I figure this is where it would get the most hits and it is kind of 'buying'.
I have had a few hunts fall through and am yet to shoot my first deer.
I have called a few places in Auckland(woodhill) and cost is about $550 for a small meat animal.

I was wondering if anyone is happy to take me for a walk where I can shoot a deer as a one off(wont go back if it is a private block kind of thing). I am happy to pay a couple of hundy if need be and will GIFT(NOT SELL!) a crayfish or 2 from my freezer if that is what it takes to sweeten the landowner.

    PM me please.

    Really appreciate any help.

    regards

Give me a PM, come along with me/us on my next hunt.
It won't cost $550, just your share of petrol costs, food for the weekend, a bullet, a beer or two and a set of earplugs (think about that one )

    Previous trips.

$550 for a bloody deer!! mate if you were in Wellington I could line you up on half a dozen reds for nothing. My advice is move out of Auckland.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

FFS john, dig a bit deeper. At least take your rifle for a few walks first.

    Head further south mate

$500 in gas will get you out for many weekends away and will make you a way better hunter then spending it on one deer.
