    Dial-able scope

After an entry level dial up scope for a friend. Prefer 4 or lower at bottom end of magnification. Thinking vx3 or similar would be perfect but anything considered as long as known quality brand and in good condition. Max will spend is $1500.
    Cheers guys

a bit of the problem been people ring giles for a price and then go and try and screw h and f to that price.

If that is true then they could be in some serious shit legally with the competition tribunal.
    That is price fixing.

Someone would need to make a complaint with some evidence though.

Pretty dangerous game to play, can result in massive fines. Like 10s of millions depending on the situation.

We have to do a training course every year to ensure we are up to speed with the law to limit the companies liability.

We are dealing with a battle between foodstuffs and progressive at the moment, we have to be ridiculously careful what we say and do to not come across as anti competitive, no matter how frustrating it is!

We cannot dictate price to a customer, we would be nailed immediately.

Yes, why the hell people do this I can't fathom
If you can you ask two or three retailers for their best price, then when they deliver the other two shouldn't hear from you again .
People go back and say so in so can do it for this and say its H&F and they match it, well stuff em, they should have given you that price in the first place.

Buy from the bloke that gave you his honest best price first time.

H&F used to import them selves from Australia, then use the nz distributor if they were out of stock themselves. Not sure it's the same way. Pretty rough if you ask me. If Giles wanted to I'm sure he could cause some shit
