    Eberlestock J34 'Just One' pack

As new, I've only used it once.

If you are reading this you likey know what they are and how they work.

A versatile and well built pack that zips open to carry a large load. With built in rifle scabbard system.

Comes with the matching zip-in panel, double sided, camo/orange.

More info here Eberlestock J34 Just One Pack - Hunting and Outdoor Supplies

They are $600 new, plus extra for the zip-in panel.

    I'm happy with $450 + courier.

    Sorry, Rifle not included

Sure, I just find I prefer using my simple single compartment 65L macpac for the way I hunt.

The J34 is neat the way you can have all your hunting gear stashed in the two tube pockets, then have all your main camping gear etc in a pack liner in the main part of pack.

Then once you've walked in and reached camp, simply whip out the pack liner complete with all camping gear, then fold in the sides and zip it up into a more compact pack, with any gear you need for hunting already in the side pockets.

These are a great tops or south Island ( Tahr / Chammie ) hunting pack, they are quite heavy but farken bullet proof & carry weight very well, you just need to learn the best way to load em up ( personal preference ) for how / what you hunt.

$450 with the insert is a bloody good price, I saw one in GC for 8hundy :

+1 Great for overnighters but a bit of the heavy side for daytrips

For those that havnt used/seen these packs before, the rifle can be retrieved from the scabbard very fast abd easily just by reaching over your shoulder and lifting it out.

Would make a great Chrissy pressie to yourself

    Hit the gym bud?

If my fat ass can drag the dragonfly around anyone can.
These packs and the likes of the dragonfly are 'heavy' compared to some but they sit and carry their weight really well so you don't feel like you're dragging round a house, then when you load them up you really get the benefit of their weight and carrying ability.

I have one of these and I really like it. As described above it makes a good pack, then compresses into a day pack and then (hopefully) opens up to carry a bones out deer

I really like the scabbard too.
