F class open 6.5x285 full set up

less than a year old, Mastin adjustable stock, Mini rest and rear bag, 32" axel true flight ultra match barrel fired 200 rounds only, 50 odd loaded rounds, Barnard P action non eject, vortex golden eagle 15-60 scope, night force ultra light rings, trigger set @ 200 grams, 200 fired cases, all Lapua brass, die set, Plano hard case, 2 boxes of projectiles, 1 of 139 senars and one of 142 g .... setup cost me just under 12 k all less than a year old, selling as I just can not get off island to club to shoot so its a bloody waste, best 5 shot group was .0952 @ 100, I was shooting 59/5s on my first outing @ 600 and 500 yards so its doing the business and I still have not done much load development.
$8500 firm, its all you need to get started. Very competitive setup.

You'd be better off setting it back and re-chambering as 6.5x47 or similar. There would be buyers happy with that as a short and mid-range rifle. If it was chambered in 284 I suspect it would have sold within a week. It is an awesome setup, just in a chambering that has gone out of favour in the last couple of years...

Phil, you'd be gobsmacked at some of the flash rigs mate. 10K and even 14K not unusual... That's for one rifle... and then there is the backup rig / and or short range setup... It's a different world

@Nga, I'll put up a notice at Nationals for you (end of Jan, beginning Feb), might have more luck selling it then than over Xmas. The other good time to sell stuff like this is during the winter break when people are uprading for the next season.

Yeah mate I know what ya mean, I'm in the hole over 17k on my latest

But there's still a very small percentage of people willing or having that sort a money money for a target gun, plus it's got a poxy Vortex, if it had something decent like a NF would help
