I just tried it and if you remove spacer it will take 4x (3 inch) shells in mag - so 5 total including one in breech
(To correct what i said before The spacer is dowling- not a fabarm one )

Steel shoots a 1/4 choke up so 3/4 is full lead equivalent. I may have this wrong as is an old memory from when steel became compulsory...

What fabarm claim is that the way there barrels are made makes them stronger and the fact there chokes are longer than other brands by around 25mm allows them to use a different profile Taper which allows the full choke on steels. I’m sure there is a fabarm expert out there that can explain this better than me!

If you have the correct chokes for steel they do, my 11/87 is years old, full choke is marked Steel and lead, so was the full choke on my Beretta.

How did youdo this, I have tried but no joy, and yes Geese are the target

On the Fabarm was just a simple job of removing circlip at end of magazine -closest to muzzle. The spring behind circlip is under compression so watch out - Then remove spacer - replace spring and bobs your Aunty!
