I loved my Fly fishing when living up your way many moons back and have trouble remembering the weight details/uses etc
A 6 is better for what and a 8 is ??

I loved my 6wght Fenwick but sadly after breaking the tip twice (car door,boat) I need another. I fly fish quite abit at this time of year and love the lightness and cast ability of a 6wght. I own around 6 8/9 weight rods and Yes they do get used but if I’m fishing in the dark by myself I like stealthness of a 6weight. I have one on order once the lockdown is over, intend to sell a couple of firearms to pay for it.
