FS Sako A7 RH LA Stock not ST Model. Taken off new .270 WIN

I just posted this on eBay in the US.

The auction starts 5pm PDT (US Pacific) and will run for 5 days.

If anyone off the NZHS Forum buys it, I will bring it to NZ in mid December and offer free NZ delivery.

I may be able to send it back with a mate next month but that will depend on whether or not he has room in his checked luggage.

    PM me with any questions.

In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when conserved by the sportsman. The excellent people who protest against all hunting, and consider sportsmen as enemies of wildlife are wholly ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping wild creatures from total extinction.

The A7 factory stock was replaced with a McMillan SAKO VARMINT

The Sako Varmint, with its semi-beavertail forend, is made for use with most Sako actions as well as the PPC barreled action. This stock has a Monte Carlo comb but no cheek-piece, allowing it to be shot right or left-handed. This stock is one of the more popular stocks in the McMillan line. It will accept up to a #8 Douglas contour and is available in right and left hand.

The McM stock is their standard fill weight and came in at 225g (8oz) over the A7 factory stock. It has a good solid feel to it as opposed to the original A7 stock. The photo is not one of my better efforts.

Still not sure if I will keep it but will bring it to NZ in December for a tour of Southland.
