    GA Precision .338 Norma Mag for sale

    Guys,

    Having a clean out of toys I don't really use to make way for, well, new toys.

    I had GA Precision make this for me.

    Hospitaller

    The base model is the "Hospitaller" with the following upgrades:

    * Change to single shot
    * Install Jewel trigger
    * Install Badger FTE brake
    * 20MA rail
    * Small picatinny section up front for atlas bipod
    * 26 inch barrel

    I have maybe put 50 rounds down the tube. Load development was interesting. Every load I tried in it went better than 1/2 inch....at 200 mtrs.

    Build time was 18 months (and you thought some local gunsmiths had mental lead times) and it cost me just over $9500 landed.

    I'm after $5k firm.

    Pics below. Please note, scope, rings and bipod NOT included but will do a deal for whoever buys the rifle.

    Dies, brass and projectiles will be available for sale also.

    Thanks

    I'll take it to work and weigh it tomorrow.

    I knew they had a 3/8 MOA guarantee but I was still surprised at how accurate it is.

    Still early days yet so nothing's finalised

    I'm gonna be at Robs place in the next few weeks if your interested in having a burn on it. That's if I still have it. Interest is higher than I expected to be honest. I didn't think many would know who GAP were.

    How so? Fairly 'plain' bolt action single shot , was it getting it out of USA or into here that was the problem?

    For those that wanted to know, the rifle weighs 7kgs as you see in the photo's. So less the S&B it comes in at 6kgs.

    In an announcement that is not likely to surprise anybody.......at all........this rifle is now on hold for another member who first needs to "shake a few tree's"

    Thank you for all the kind words and interest, but I suspect that it has found a new home

    Will it be going with or without the s&b? If without how much you looking for it? Curious if there's 'some trees I can shake'.
