    Garmin gps touch screen

    Thought id look here before buying new, after a garmin touch screen type gps, any model considered at this stage

    Welcome to the forum.... If you hang around long enough a few gps come up. Would avoid touch screen though, had one on a mountain bike, in the rain it doesn't go well even if waterproof.... The impact from the rain is enough to 'touch' the screen.

    Did wonder that, i have had a play with both and the touch screen's are a lot faster and easier to use (for me anyway), might be a bit easier to shield from the rain when just walking and not on a mountain bike maybe? Think ill run the risk and see how it goes

    Onlyhad light use, in very good condition.

    Has a Screen protector applied and comes with Lanyard attached and NE Pouch as well as Manual & user guide
    Happily runs on 2 rechargeable AA batteries. Has USB connection and micro SD card slot. Easy to read in bright sunlight. Custom overlay maps and satellite imagery can be installed on this unit. Very nice to hold ,easy to grip, rugged, waterproof and compact size for light packing.

    -rugged.
    -2.6” touchscreen.
    -3-axis compass.
    -barometric altimeter.

    NewBatteries& unused USB to Garmin GPS Cable & unused CD included.

    Wouldn't mind a later model at this stage ill keep it in mind though
