    Gevarm E1 .22 and Venturini RubiExtra .22

    Selling here two .22 rifles.

Both 10-Shot semi-autos, with appropriate magazines.

The Gevarm E1 is in good condition, with bluing missing or thin on the barrel. Crinkle paint on the receiver is in mostly good condition. Stock has some nice figure, and someone has taken time to inlay it with paua shell, including a stag pattern. This will make you shoot better and connect with your feminine side. Also, it probably permits you to shoot wood-pigeons. (I'm joking). A strip and revarnish would tidy this up good as. Takes down to a poaching-friendly size with the twist of a knob.

Venturini RubiExtra (Argentine copy of earlier Gevarm) is in good condition, with some patches of thin or missing bluing. Stock looks to have been, um, stained, with boot polish or cheap walnut stain. This is a very nice rifle and would tidy up well. Comes with a "Ballinger" scope, permitting clear views of the hares on Uranus.

Both of these rifles fire from the open-bolt position. Usually this bodes well for feedability and reliable ignition. Both bores appear to be in perfect/close to perfect condition.

$350 each firm. Located Palmy North.

PLEASE DO NOT PM ME - rather give me a call or text on 021630773 if you are feeling the mustard.

They are great little rifles maybe not target grade but amazingly reliable. Only problem i had with mine was deciding to fire a 22 shot cartridge in it at some rats not having an extractor is a bit of a bugger, needed to dismantle it and get the case out with my pocket knife.

I had an E1 while back and forgot to do the take-down nut up tight. Got 2 rounds into a goat JUST A TAD FRICKEN LOW before the barrel fell off and I had to chew the maimed goat to death with my bare teeth.

I like that these are classed as machine guns in the states, but they can have AR15s, we can have suppressors, 15 inch rifles and 17 shotguns. The world is completely mad.

Good luck with the sale, the Venturini looks neat.

A thousand years ago, at a rifle range somewhere, I watched a man who is surely now dead empty a 20-round stick mag in a, um, modified... E1 in about one quadrillionth of a nanosecond. Roughly calculated it at approaching 2kRPM, depending on the ammo he was using. I had a go, and being a lefty, managed to fill my shirt with magma-like shells of Satanic heat. My first and last brush with full auto.... :-)

To avoid that accidentally happening occasionally Never use subsonics in one.
