Thread: Globe front sight with integrated Anti cant level

Building a new black powder cartridge Silhouette rifle
The only missing part is a good front sight
Before i go through the hassle of getting one imported or importing one myself
Got a couple of shops getting me a price
But ether way it will need importing ether by me or a shop

Unless someone has a pre loved one lying around

Would love a windage Adjustable one but not a deal breaker if it’s not I’ll just slide it in the dovetail as normal
Prefer.375 dovetail but again not crucial

Must have an Integral bubble level ether external like the Pedersoli options or internal like parker hales

Im pretty sure a front sight like this now requires a import permit
Waiting on an email from nz police to confirm
Not really a big deal apart from time upto 20 days apparently
Then shipping holdups with Covid you never know when it’s going to show up

So will try my best to find one here in nz

Hayes and assoc for the Pedersoli ones
Just ring him because the web sight doesn't have any images

Check out TSNZ under sight accessories there are bubbles and stuff there ....maybe out of stock but worth a look / call

As of yesterday I'm looking for the exact same thing to get a new old gun shooting better with a peep rear sight
If you can't find one locally we could get a couple in from offshore

And now it pains me to say I burgled a Lyman 17A off a rifle that was perfectly sighted in to put on the new old muzzleloader I want to do load and patch tests on this afternoon !

Still need another because I now have my number one muzzleloader doesn't have a front sight

Akaroa I actually have a 17a or possibly a cheaper Pedersoli one here with no bubble level
The one im replaceing As it doesn’t have a level which is truly needed if pushing the ranges
If it will work for what you need let me know and will see we can make a deal

I thought i would need a permit but I emailed police arms office in Wellington to check and turns out no I don’t
So just got one from usa got shipped on the 13th so hopefully doesn’t take too long

Which one did you go for and where did you get it?
