    Golf ball cannon

    Trying to find a golf ball cannon or mortar without spending a fortune anyone have one they want to sell or know anyone who makes them?

    Ar 15 can canon, far more uses than a golf ball floor thing

    this is what i use to launch my longline up to 200 metres. 30 mmx300 long barrel and it bolts to the spare wheel for a base.pull a string to make the hammer whack the percussion cap and boom.

    I think it's the same as discharging any firearm in a public place.

    However it my just be a line launcher and not a firearm.

    My grandfather had one and used it quite a lot during the 1970s and 80s without any issues.

    Best check with an AO though.

    Bro in law a keen fisherman used to use a spud gun ( gas cannon) to launch his longline up until 4 years ago when Police questioned him at Ruapuke about using it. Told him it was an illegal firearm (he doesn't have an fal) took it away and suggested he not build another.

    I've always treated mine as a firearm as such and only used it in the appropriate places. As much as I've been tempted to bring it out on guy fawks.
    Funny how the length of it doesn't matter though, less than 762mm.

    Your right there's something about building and using them that's addictive.
    If I sell my one it will only be a matter of time before I build another
