    Gun vice

    Hey guys, wanting to buy a gun vice! not looking to spend too much as I just want something that'll do the job!

    HI , just to be clear what do you want to do with the vice , not being funny is this just to hold a gun /guns wile you clean them or is it to change barrels or other gun jobs ... Rob

    Well exactly that, both! The convenience for cleaning is a plus but the vice itself is my main purpose for needing one!

    I just use a normal vice and either use wood or thick leather and hold by the barrel if its out of the stock or just a cheap buffalo river gun holder for cleaning and scope mounting and light work

    I prefer the MTM vice, it allows the gun to be sat further back as well, which means it sits muzzle-down (which I prefer for cleaning as any excess solvent or other stuff goes out the muzzle)
