    HECKLER & KOCH 630 - 223

Well I always wanted to own one of these rifles and finally found one - and shot it today for the first time, to find I hate the stock on it and the fit so it is immediately back on the market. Has a 7 shot magazine and a Nikon ProStaff 4-12x40 scope (or I can swap it for a Leupold 2-7 x 32 - think it's a V1 if you would prefer) in Burris Mounts. (there is a set of H&K Detachable Return to Zero Mounts for sale here on the forum)

Rifle is in tidy condition for it's age and lost most of the blueing of the barrel (apparently very common for these rifles) - photo of group shot today with 55gr V-Max

paid $1000 last week so that is what I would like just my money back basically (freight by Pass the Parcel including rural is $25 if not picking up)Name: 762925976.jpg

Best to PM - and will be away duckshooting from end of next week

Would consider a deal on a Ruger No1 in 243 (always wanted one of them)

They are a great rifle - in my opinion the best Semi (non military) on the market
Shoot amazing accuracy for a Semi too

Good luck with sale - imagine will sell OK at that price

Mate that must be very disappointing.
My advice is to stick with it though, it shoots well, is very cool.
My BSA has a horrible stock for a leftie but the rifle is cool, fun to shoot and once your shooting game you won't notice.

Problem ya have is that all these euro style hog back stocks were designed for using with ( as attached ) open sights, stick a high as scope like that on it & she'll be a bit of a proper pig in my opinion

I had the the exact in 308
    With Ziess 3x9 Vari
Shot well - in fact it was a lucky rifle for me - every time I went out I got a Deer - once got 3 in light off boat (opps not meant to shoot off boats)
I had noprob with stock fit - but they are a tad heavy - especialy compared to your Kimber :-))

They are the "Rolls-Royce" of the Semi hunters

That’s a lot of rifle for the money! I used a B-Square rail drilled and tapped to the receiver and then mounted the scope in a set of Weaver rings on that rail. Dropped the scope perhaps 5mm lower than what yours is shown. Alternatively, use the tip-off rings and base that I’m selling and you have the versatility of scope or open sights :-)

Either way, these rifles are very accurate and a joy to shoot!
