Do you want two piece bases ?

I take it, it has four screw holes not three ?

    I have several sets here

If you are putting that big heavy Scope on, a rail is the way forward.

The back holes are like 3/8-1/2" apart, a pretty delicate situation to be fair with two piece bases.

I have a rail for a Model 7 if you are after one. It's a little second hand, but more than functional.

Hole spacing is the same whether its a 3 or 4 hole receiver, you just get an extra hole with the 4 hole one. Epoxy the rail on either way I reckon

In my digging through stuff to clear out, I have found a "3 hole" base to suit Remington 600 & 660. Someone smarter than me may know if they are the same as the mod 7 (this is a brand new base hand-me-down from my father, and is in an unopened packet which has been well lubricated by a leaking oil can...). Anyone know if this will work?
