Hornady lock n load part urgently needed.

I am after a favour from anyone that operates a lock n load progressive press.

I need to borrow your spare pawl that should have come in a spares pack with your press.

I have ordered 3 but they won't be here for a while and I have some loading to do and I broke one this morning and can't find my spare anywhere.
Will return a new one when they arrive if anyone can help me out.

    Cheers

How did you manage to break that bit?

I didn't. My son was loading some ammo for me and didn't know any better apparently.

A primer didn't decap fully and seized the press by jamming in the drop tube opening.
Hey gave it a gentle whack and broke a pawl.

I understand. Play with the pawl timing and you can fix that. Lots of easy to understand tube vids about it out there. Mine does the same, havnt got it quite right yet either. But, shit, that bit would have taken a fair bit of oomph to break!

All sorted thanks to Towley fellas.

Yeah probably stressed over heaps of use and me getting rough with it a few times.
Worked perfectly. Was all timed right just the primer jammed the shell plate up and would have needed to remove the shell plate to remove the case. He won't do it again.

Will replace both of them in case the other one is about to go.

Thanks Brian. Appreciate it. Towely sorted me out. He can hunt me down at the next shoot if I don't replace it on time as well
