Hornady primer arm OR Lee shell holder

Hey all. I need a way to prime my 7mmWSM brass.

I currently use a Lee hand primer tool for my .243 but donít have the WSM shell holder. I think itís a #5 I need.

Alternatively, Iíd be happy doing them on the press if anyone has a primer arm for a Hornady 00-7.

    Thanks team

aha....struck this one myself....Ive got an old rcbs thingy that sits on bench...it takes the same shell holders as my lee press and has a rod that pushes upthrough guts, to seat primer...it actually didnt have one but 5 minutes with hacksaw and files say a 4" nail pressed into service....if you cant find someone to help you out let me know and will see if can get it to you for a loan till you do.

The Lee hand priming tool uses specific shellholders, different from their standard ones for use in a press.

Thanks @mickey Duck. @Cigar is right, the Lee tool annoyingly uses a different type of shell holder. I'd seen them on Gunworks' website, was just checking if anyone in the forum had one lying around before driving out there.

Surly you've got a site inspection/measure up to get done on that side of town?
If you can't beat them, beat them.
They will be expecting you to join them, so you'll have the element of surprise.

yes I know the lee hand primer uses a different tool....... what I found is the fat bit of the case wouldnt fit inside the hand primer itself...yet the 45/70 will.

Ha ha, unfortunately not! Itís not too far, but I think Iíll take @DBD up on his offer as it keeps me going until I can find an alternative. Not a huge fan of the Lee tool, itís just all Iíve got.

I see what you mean after googling an image. I use the Lyman tool, the tool itself only comes up to the groove in the shellholder.

awesome...mine is the older round tray model and no way would it fit...love the way the newer model "lifts" one primer at a time up and into slot...its a bugger with the old one if get a jam up...never quite sure if a 2nd has slipped into slot,,,tip out n count primers gets old FAST.....
